Our photographer is Rick Policastro, and for this new session of photos, we decided to take the pictures at his studio. While we were setting up, arranging props etc, his absolutely gorgeous cat, Gemma, was milling around, making herself known. Rick was experimenting with a white column, as we wanted to show off our limited assorted beads. All of a sudden, Gemma decides she wants to get into the act, jumping on the column and posing. We decided to take advantage of this and started shooting. We couldnt get her to wear the beads, but it is obvious that her attitude tells it all! She seemed to love being invloved, and with the beads around her, she is our perfect animal representative. By the way, some info on Gemma. Her official name is Gemma Rose Krinkelati, and was born to Oscar Cletis Krinkle and Princess Cara! She was kind of a leftover, as the owner never returned to pick her up, and Rick and his wife were lucky to get her! She continues to amaze them with her antics and love of posing and being involed in everything they do. • As of February 2010, Trollbeads is debuting new beads that will not disappoint you! There are several new silvers, ( Hugging Heart, Heart Beat, Kiss, Chick, Zucchini, Heart Ball, Paradise Birds, Soccer ), A new Fantasy Butterfly, a Golden Wreath, Mini Heart that dangles, two Tassel beads, (Black Spinel, and Pearl),Carved Flowers in silver and glass, 6 black and white, two jade, ( green and yellow ), a new gemstone, (Amazonite ), three glass beads with swarovski crystals in pastel colors, and finally leather bracelets in black, brown, red and beige. A limited edition of Crazy Lace Pink Agate beads was introduced for Valentine's Day 2010. Very scarce, quite unique and magnificent in color, these beads will add greatly to your designs. We also carry the Limited Edition Jasper, Limited Edition Russian Pink Amber, Limited Edition amber, and have one of the largest selections of limited glass Trollbeads in New York State.

• Several more releases were added in 2009. The Holiday Release, The Peacock Pearl Release, the Limited Edition Butterly, and the Chinese Bead Release.

The Holiday Release consisted of new silver beads,(Walk, Find your Pet, Magician ), a bead in silver as well as gold ( Angels Feathers), a silver and gold bead ( Hallelujah ), and a Silver Trace Gold Glass two bead.

The Peacock Pearls are a limited edition of shimmering colors of grey and green.

The Chinese Limited Bead Collection was designed by chinese artisits to reflect how they see China. The beads are inspired by Chinese mythology, nature , and history. The Limited Editon Butterly was a silver butterfly with a bud that looked like the Aphrodite ring.

• October of 2009 marked the first time Trollbeads US sponsored a charity release. Called the, "Empowerment Series", it was a release of 10 pretty pink beads. The beads were not given names, but some of the patterns were reminiscent of old designs such as python, ribbon, flower, dots, bubbles, etc. Retailers donated money to their local breast cancer foundation for every bead they purchased and sold. We were proud to be a part of this event.

• In Autumn of 2009, we were treated to a new release of 10 glass beads, one gold, 6 silver, one lock, a fantasy pendant and two rings, one in silver and one in gold. The glass beads are so different and shimmer with colors of desert dust. The silver beads include an owl, a panda, and the beads are inspired from mytholog and life. The new fantasy pendant is a Troll Tree- you can put a bead inside! And the new Troll rings look like a miniature bracelet for your finger. The color kits are called, "Caravan" and "Desert".

• New Spring Release 2009. A large collection of silver,gold and glass was introduced. Already poplular the Lighthouse, Smiling Cylinder, Frames, Sun Circle, Sweater, Ball of yarn, Buttons, Viking, and Strawberries are examples of beautiful workmanschip. Also introduced were 2 gold beads ( Three Siblings, Forget Me Not ), and two beads with buds, ( Fairy, and Forget with Bud ). The glass beads include, mosaic beads,which are beads with bubbles of dichroic glass,a flower series, a new glass three bead, called, Moon Ocean, 2 stripes, and Milan and Florence. Trollbeads continue to break the mold, go outside the box, stimulate our senses and revive our feelings.

• In the spring of 2009, there was an international contest for a new bead. Among 8,000 entries, 10 were chosen and then the winner was announced. Designed by Suzanne Hopping of Australia, the peoples bead is called, "Pax", named for peace and widely acclaimed for its beauty and symbolism.

• November 2008

Trollbeads has just released a series of new beads that are perfectly timed for the holidays! They include: Unity gold or silver, " A celebration of being connected", Guardian Angel, " An angel to protect and assist us, especially in love", Passion, " Passion of the Heart" a silver bead with 2 pearls and a red hot garnet, and the Diamond Beads, black or white " A girls best friend", 13 czs embedded in crystal on a background of white or black.

• Trollbeads Autumn News 2008

Trollbeads has just announced the release of 5 silver beads, 5 precious stone beads with a silver core, 2 gemstone beads with a gold core, one glass/zirconia bead with a gold core, 2 locks, one in silver and one in gold. They are fabulous and exciting.

•Every year there is a change of product line. Some new beads are released and some retired. In the fall of 2007, amber beads were added along with other silver and glass beads. These are very special and popular and include: Honey Dew, Maple Syrup, Alabaster, and Caramel Sunset.

 • In February 2008, the release of new products included rings, leather necklaces, beautiful bright prisms, beads in patterns of triangles or chess, glass beads with silver intertwined, and new beads in silver or gold.
